There are multiple paths to enter the US market

We focus on a dual strategy of:

  • Top Down
    • We approach Retailers directly and try to get the product in front of the designated buyer
    • An initial presentation has a focus benchmarking and advantage for the retailer
    • Followed by sample testing in front of a panel or maybe in limited amount of stores
    • This works for the top 30 US retailers that own 75% of the market 
  • Ground Up
    • We tackle distributors in our network as well as small retail chains
    • Service them from a local warehouse, smaller MOQ’s
    • Using salespeople on the road and offering promotions where needed
    • This gives a direct feedback from the market


For the decision-making meetings we usually have your representatives over to present with us. Buyers appreciate that commitment as part of the shared risk launching new lines in the US.
For inventory management the goal is to secure an anchor customer after which the progressive stages can be executed.
